How it works

Thousands of contractions in 28 minutes

The pelvic floor muscles support the bladder and other pelvic organs and help control urination. Childbirth, menopause, aging, and prostate surgery can weaken them. Emsella's electromagnetic field reaches the whole pelvic floor and makes the muscles contract strongly, far more times than you could manage with exercises. BTL describes one session as the equivalent of 11,200 Kegel exercises.

Who it helps

What a session is like

You sit on the chair in your clothes and feel the muscles tighten and relax. Most people describe it as a strong tingling. Our nurse adjusts the intensity for your comfort, and you can go back to your day as soon as the session ends. You may take anti-inflammatory medicines such as ibuprofen during Emsella treatment.

About FDA status. Emsella is FDA cleared to treat urinary incontinence in women and men. Using it for erectile dysfunction, sexual wellness, or bowel leakage is off-label. Results vary from person to person.

Emsella is a game changer! I went from years of crossing legs before coughing or sneezing to try and prevent leakage to no worries and no leakage. It happens! Especially to the women who have given birth and you think it's normal and have to deal with but there is treatment! Easy fast treatment in my experience. I just sit for 28 min and go about my day. 6 treatments later and I feel confident I don't have to worry about rushing to a rest room or taking the caution stance to prevent embarrassment. Thank you to whoever created this amazing chair!
